Updates By Category

The situation has changed pretty rapidly in the last week alone – it is our hope that it will continue to change quickly and that we can get back to “normal” as soon as possible! In the meantime, however, we want to make proactive and not reactive decisions in the interest of everyone’s health and safety. Check out the steps we’re taking below.

Main Office

  • The office hours are suspended for the time being. Please reach out via email or Facebook if you have any questions or needs!

Community Center – Brunswick

  • We will be operating a drive-thru process each Tuesday from 5PM-6PM where attenders can pick up a meal to go.
  • The sit-down meal is postponed until further notice.

Life Groups

  • All life groups have been suspended for the rest of the life group cycle.
  • We are looking into hosting the next life group cycle virtually.

Events and Services

  • All meetings, events, and services have been suspended for the next eight (8) weeks. We’re hoping, however, the situation turns a corner soon and we’re able to put things back on the calendar!
  • That said, we currently do not have rain dates for any events that we’re forced to suspend. We will let you know when and if they are scheduled!

If you’re able, we encourage you to continue giving. If not, we completely understand! Here are two ways you can give during this time:

Video Message

This is a quick video message reiterating Pathway’s response to the current situation with COVID-19. We’ve received a wonderful response from our church family so far and are thankful for your continued support as we navigate these circumstances!

Please note that we will be streaming our Sunday service for all three campuses on our Pathway Vineyard Facebook page this Sunday, March 15th, at 10AM.

I will continue to provide regular updates on our ministries, services, and events through email, Facebook, and right here on our website.

March 12th, 2020

I wanted to give you an update on how the latest developments with COVID-19 will affect Pathway Vineyard Church.

As you may have heard, we now have one “presumptive positive” case of coronavirus in the state of Maine. Because of this, the Governor and the Maine CDC are recommending that groups of 250 or more do not meet.

As Christ followers we do not make decisions based in fear. On the other hand, just last week we said that we must treat every individual and every situation with honor and respect. Because this is a situation that affects many individuals, it is imperative that I lead according to what is best for the good of the whole.

After seeking the counsel of the Board of Trustees, Pathway staff, and medical professionals, we are going to honor the advice of the Governor and Maine CDC and cancel all Sunday services this week (March 15th, 2020). From there, we will monitor the situation on a week to week basis, striving to make the best possible decision for everyone.

It is my hope that in the near future we can look back on this moment and see that our reaction was disproportionate to the situation. It is truly out of an abundance of caution that we are making these decisions.

Important Notes

  • We are not canceling life groups. Please use discretion and do not attend your group if you feel sick.

  • We will be regularly cleaning and disinfecting our buildings as per usual.

  • We are planning to stream services this Sunday at 10AM on our Pathway Vineyard Facebook page.

  • I encourage you to begin or continue using PushPay to tithe through this time (as you’re able).

  • We will keep you updated via email, our website, and our Facebook page about affected events

Let’s join together and pray that the people in our communities will not only stay healthy, but also be blessed with a peace that surpasses understanding during this time. I again exhort you to proceed through this time with generosity, patience, and the love of Christ.

If you have any questions or concerns please let us know.

I’ll see you on the journey,

Allen Austin
